Our
Beliefs
What We Belief
THE ONE TRUE GOD
We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power,
Holy in nature, attributes and purpose; and possessing absolute,
indivisible deity. There is one and only one living and true God.
He is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and the Ruler of the universe.
This one triune God has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit with distinct personal attributes, but without division of
nature, essence, or being. (1 Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:6; 2 Cor. 5:19; Joel
2:28, Heb. 11: 6; 12: 9).
DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the affirmation of Christ’ deity as an absolute
and indispensable requisite of our faith. In Jesus Christ, the Son
of God, crucified, died, buried, rose from the dead, ascended into
heaven and is at the right hand of the Almighty God. (Acts 2: 36; Roms.
8: 34; Heb. 18: 8)
CREATION OF MAN AND HIS FALL
We believe that in the beginning God created man innocent, pure and
holy; but through the sin of disobedience, Adam and Eve, the first
of the human race, fell from their holy state, and God banished them
from Eden. Hence by one man's disobedience, sin entered into the
world. (Gen. 1:27; Roms. 3:23, 5:12).
REPENTANCE AND CONVERSION
We believe that pardon and forgiveness of sins is obtained by genuine
repentance, a confessing and forsaking of sins. Repentance comes
from the Greek word which mean, change of views and purpose, change
of heart, change of mind, change of life, to transform. We are justified
by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5: 1; Luke 13: 3; Luke
24:47)
WATER BAPTISM
The scriptural mode of baptism is immersion, and is only for those
who have fully repented, having turned from their sins and a love
of the world. It should be administered by a duly authorized minister
of the Gospel, in obedience to the Word of God, and in the name of
our Lord Jesus Christ, according to the Acts of the Apostles 2:38,
8:16, 10:48, 19:5; thus obeying and fulfilling Matthew 28:19.
THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
In the indwelling baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking
in tongues. It is scriptural for all who receive the baptism of the
Holy Spirit to receive the same physical, initial sign of speaking
with other tongues. (Acts 2: 4, 39, Joel 2: 28)
SECOND COMING OF JESUS
That Jesus is coming again the second time in person, just as He went
away, we look forward to the glorious event. (Matt. 24; Acts 1:11,
3:19-21; 1 Cor. 11:26; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 4:14-17; Titus 2:13,
14).
RAPTURE
In the rapture at the end of dispensation of grace, the dead in Christ
will rise first and with those who are alive will be caught up to
meet Jesus in the air. Matt. 24: 37-42; Mark 13: 37; 1 Thess. 4:
13-18,
THE NEW BIRTH
We believe that New Birth is a spiritual rebirth of a sinner who has
accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Without regeneration, no one can
see and enter the kingdom of God. (1 Peter 1: 3-4, Eph. 2: 1; 2 Cor.
5: 17)
THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION
We believe that Salvation is the redemption of the whole man, and is
offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior,
who through His blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer.
Salvation can only be obtained by personal faith in Jesus Christ
as Lord and Savior. (Roms. 1: 16-18; 2 Cor. 5: 17-20; Gal. 2: 20,
3: 13; Eph. 1: 7, 2: 8-22; I John 1: 6-2: 11)
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is infallible, and was written divinely by
men at God’s inspiration. All scripture is inspired by God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness. All Scripture is totally true and trustworthy
and is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine
revelation.(1 Peter 1: 10, 25 12; Rm. 15: 4; 2 Tim. 3: 15-17; Heb.
1: 1-2, 4: 12)
EVANGELISM
We believe that evangelism is the duty and privilege of every believer
in Christ Jesus and of the church to make disciples of all nations.
The Lord Jesus commanded that the believers should make disciples
of all nations, teaching them to observe all things which He has
taught. It is the duty of every believer to constantly seek to win
the lost to Christ. (I thess. 1: 8; Matt. 24: 14; 28: 18-20; Eph.
3: 1-11; John 14: 11-12)
TITHING
Tithes and Offerings should be given in the local church where one
receives spiritual nourishment. We believe tithe is God’s commandment
with a promise of open heaven. (Mal. 3, Matt. 23: 23)
DIVINE HEALING
We believe in divine healing in the name of Jesus Christ as part of
the benefits of the finished work of Christ on the cross of calvary.
(Psalm 107: 20; Matt. 8: 16-17; Acts 10: 38)
GIVING
We believe in giving and meeting the needs of the less privileged as
demonstrated by Jesus Christ and taught in the gospel. (Prov. 11:
24-25; 14: 21. 31; 19: 17, 28: 27; Mark 10: 21)
